Mount Bromo is an active volcano, located at East Java, Indonesia. Standing at 2329-meter-high, it’s last eruption was in 2015 and still active until now. Mount Bromo is a part of Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park, a massive area with 2 active volcanoes (Mount Bromo and Mount Semeru) located within a crater of an ancient volcano (Tengger), surrounded with a sea of sand, the most visited tourist attraction in East Java. Untuk ke Gunung Bromo, Gue mengikuti tur dari “Nahwa Tour”. Sebenarnya tur ini sendiri juga gue temuin tanpa sengaja dari Google. Ada banyak banget perusahaan yang menyediakan jasa tur ke Gunung Bromo di Google. Tapi setelah beberapa pertimbangan, saya pun memilih “Nahwa Tour” karena tur ini berbasis di Malang, dan website mereka memiliki informasi yang cukup lengkap dan harga yang lebih murah dibandingkan tour lainnya. There are a lot of tours available to bring you to Mount Bromo, but I joined Nahwa Tour’s tour because they are based in Malang and so far their website provides the best information about the tour and the price is somehow cheaper than the other websites. Malang and It’s Beautifully Dangerous Villages (English)

After spending two nights at Surabaya, I continued my journey to Malang, around one and a half hour by train. From Surabaya Gubeng Station, the train is scheduled to leave Surabaya at 7.30am and will be arriving Malang at 9.30am.
